Thanks to the wonderful help of Texpad users, from version 1.5, Texpad is speaking more and more languages. We’ve started with German (thanks to Matthias Kreutz for the legendary speed with which he produced high quality translation!), with Japanese following next (Takayuki Narumi has been working hard on it).
Of course, this is just the beginning, and soon we’ll be adding more languages. French and Italian translations are being worked on. And we’re actively looking for user-volunteers to help us with more languages, with the following being next on our wishlist:
So, if you wish for Texpad to be talking your language and have a few hours to spare, please be in touch with me at firstname.lastname@example.org!
If you have any issues to report or feedback on translations, please email us via the usual address email@example.com. In particular, we’re interested in knowing if you’d rather use Texpad in English despite having the rest of your macOS machine or your iOS device in your native language. We are looking into supporting this via a settings’ option.
