Where to find your licence key

Your licence key is a 28-character string of the form XXX1-XX2X-X3XX-4XXX-XXX1-XX2X-XXNN. This key is emailed to you after purchasing a licence. Please keep it secure and do not share it with anyone. If you’ve lost the original email, the licence key may be found at any time by logging into your account at www.texifier.com and visiting the Licences’ section in your account settings.

Using your licence key

Enter licence key in Texifier’s Organiser window

To activate the Texifier licence on a computer, follow these steps

  • Download a fresh demo of Texifier from our website from www.texifier.com/mac.
  • Move the downloaded Texifier.app to your /Applications folder
  • Launch Texifier
  • In the Organiser window’s Licence section, enter the licence key and press Enter.
  • Our licence server handles validating the copy of Texifier for your computer. Please make sure you’re online when entering the licence key.

Log into your account in Texifier’s Organiser window

Another option is to log into you texifier.com account from the Organiser window and Texifier will automatically download your licence key.

Using your licence with versions of Texifier older than v1.8

If you’re using a version of Texifier older than 1.8, you will need the old-style licence file. Please double-click on the licence file we originally emailed you after your purchase, or drag it to Texifier’s icon in the Dock. It’s a file with .texpadpurchase extension. Texifier will open the file and do the rest for you. Once again, our licence server will handle validating the copy of Texifier for your computer. Please make sure you’re online when you click on the licence file. If you do not have the licence file, please log in to your account on texifier.com and head to Licences’ section in your account settings. You’ll see the licence file download link there.
