Texpad logs unusual errors during its operation to an error log. This is very often helpful for us when debugging problems, and we usually ask for it if you get in touch.
The Texpad error log contains information logged by Texpad isOS during its run. Often this contains information useful for debugging problems, and we usually ask for it if you contact us with a bug.
To get the error log
- open Texpad iOS home screen
- Press the round
?button in the top right
- Tap the
Export error log...down the bottom of the shown window
- Save this and attach it to a reply to our email
When emailing us from within the app, this error log will automatically be attached to the email. You can do this by following the above instructions as far as
Export error log..., and tap
Email us... instead
